In Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar, a middle-aged government employee struggles to be both father and mother to his 21-year-old daughter Riya. While he spends nights grading papers and learning recipes to pack her favourite lunches, Riya increasingly drifts towards her wealthy friends' lifestyle. On her birthday, what Arun planned as a small father-daughter celebration turns into a wild party when Riya invites her friends without telling him. Walking in after his evening classes, he's shocked to find his daughter in a compromising position with her classmate. Their confrontation explodes into bitter words, with Riya accusing him of controlling her life and being "uncool." But when her so-called best friend betrays her, and her father is her only support, Riya realizes that the one person she pushed away was the one who truly loved her unconditionally.
