Village dreamer Biju needs a wife to score respect; ambitious Suman needs a government job to escape poverty. When an Anganwadi post (reserved for married women) opens, they fake a marriage and scramble for forged papers. But her mother demands the job first—and the Pradhan backs a rival candidate, Biju's best friend's wife. Now Biju must choose: help his oldest friend, or fight for the future he's building with Suman.
